On the day after we came back from Seattle, I slept in. Miss Kiki and DH went out to the marsh near my sister's house and explored some more. They had more sun than I did last time I went with Miss Kiki. They ventured far enough to find an observation deck you can climb for a view...
Later that day, we all went to McArthurGlen Factory Outlet located right by the Vancouver International Airport. We didn't really go there for shopping, but for Japadog, the Japanese style hotdog chain that started as a food truck. Their original location is in Vancouver.
After lunch, I went to the airport with my sister because I had a few questions to ask the people at the immigration office. The two kids were left behind with DH at the playground at the outlet.
When we got back to the playground afterwards, Miss Kiki asked me if she had to go or if she can still play some more. My sister was so surprised with that question she didn't think it was normal. Lol!
From there DH and I went to Granville Island. He went to a brew house for some drinks while I walked around the area. It was drizzling a little but it wasn't a big deal.
Granville Island is a peninsula and a shopping district in Vancouver. The area had various venues such as a public market, different restaurants and breweries, as well as small boutiques and art galleries. Most shops close pretty early but some were still open when we got there.
On the way home from Granville Island, we stopped at a Greek Restaurant for dinner. The food was okay, I think. Not that special....
On the following day, we went for dimsum at Tin Tin Harbour in Richmond again. It was a Saturday, so we had the full gang with us. We separated ways after meal but this time with different groupings. The kids went with the dads to Science World, and I went with my sister for coffee and shopping.

We all got back together for dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Burnaby, and then we went home. The food was pretty good!
Please stay tuned for the next post: Whistler Village!
