The next morning we were all packed by 7 AM and had breakfast at the resort. From there we got on the boat to go back to Tarakan. Miss Kiki and I had prayed to have good weather for our trip back, and God had protected us on the way and we got back to Tarakan safe and sound. It did not mean it was not a scary ride though, the waves were high... and it reminded me how small we are compared to Him.

It was when we arrived in Tarakan did we hear the sad news of the Air Asia QZ8501 flight that had gone missing that day. As I am typing this right now, 2.5 days later, they have found the plane and are evacuating the corpses from Java Sea. Please let me take this time to express our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. May those who passed rest in peace and the ones left behind be given strength and comfort in these difficult times.
