The following day I decided to go to work early and try to take off after lunch time. While I was at work, DH and Miss Kiki enjoyed the pool and beach. The weather was not conducive though, it was raining on and off all day long.

For lunch I met with DH and Miss Kiki at
Watercress Cafe in Canggu area. We had the Eggs Benedict and BLAT (Bacon Lettuce Avocado Tomato) sandwich. Both are quite good. Their juices were also very good. We were stuck there for quite a while because it started raining heavily and in the end we just braced ourselves against the water and left.

In the evening we hung out with our friends at the Fairmont, and DH also went to check out the Salsa Night at Batu Jimbar Cafe in Sanur area.
The next morning I ditched work completely, and while Miss Kiki and DH had breakfast at the hotel, I went with my friend to eat Balinese style suckling pig at
Babi Guling Pak Dobiel. A lot of people commented that it is expensive and the portions are small, but to me it was just enough. The meal for two cost my friend Rp. 90.000 including drinks. Beware though, they do not have a set price. They can charge you whatever they feel like. If you want to dine in, you line up on the right side. The left line is for takeout only.

On the way back we saw this little guy at the hotel entrance...
And then we had some beach time...
After that we went to check out
The Mulia Resort nearby. It was a huge complex, but it somehow had lost the Balinese feel to it.
One of the biggest hype in Bali right now is Cuca restaurant where they serve
molecular gastronomy dishes. We all went there together and tried a bunch of dishes. Most of them were good and the presentation was very nice...

For dinner we went to a Mexican Restaurant in Canggu area that was recommended by my friend. It was called
La Mexicana. We had nachos, tacos, and quesadillas. All were very good.

That evening we moved from The Laguna Resort to
Ibis Styles Benoa. For a budget hotel it was not bad at all, and unlike other Ibis Styles, this one has a swimming pool. Early in the morning we had breakfast at the hotel and went back to the Nusa Dua area to catch the waterblow. Unfortunately the wind was not very strong so we only saw small blows.... but here are some pictures...
On the way to the airport, we stopped at Pie Susu Asli Enak to buy and bring some home but were disappointed that they were already sold out! One last stop was at
Sensa Koffie.... Good latte!
