Boston 2019 - Part 5 Apartment Review

For three nights out of the five that we stayed in Boston I booked an apartment near Boston Convention Centre via Traveloka . It was a 1BR apartment and was larger than I expected.  The booking process was very simple, but somehow there was a lost process in between that we didn't get an exact address for the apartment at all. We went there by the map and luckily were able to get in and talked to someone at the front desk. At first, we were told that there was no reservations under our name..., but it turned out that there was an online form that we had to fill up ahead of time but wasn't sent to us. After I filled up the form we were given the apartment key and that was it.  The apartment had hardwood flooring throughout (except the bathroom). It was clean and well maintained. The bedroom was quite spacious but the bed was a bit small... and it had a walk-in closet! Completed with private washer and dryer, full kitchen, and a living area with a flat screen tv and ...

Boston 2019 - Part 4 Boston Public Library

The bright sun was harsh for the eyes but we donned our shades and continued walking. Our destination was the iconic Boston Public Library located right next to Copley Square.  Copley Square The library building wasn't difficult to find. The old building has a newer building built and attached to it. The massive library takes up a whole block between Boylston and Blagden Street, and Exeter and Dartmouth Street. We entered from the door closest to Copley Square and made our way around the library... There were so many things to see within the library itself, even when you don't plan to read a book. Just be sure not to disturb other visitors who were actually there to read. Gas lights (not sure if they are still gas powered) Entrance door And here is the most instagrammed part of the library...
