Bibap Show Jakarta 2016

Last month, the Bibap Show was playing at Ciputra Artpreneur in Jakarta. It seemed interesting so I considered buying the tickets to see it. Out of the blue, my friend offered me two VVIP tickets because he could not go. Hurraaah!

Picture taking wasn't allowed during the show so I don't have any but the show itself was quite entertaining. It wasn't mind blowing or anything but it was fun, interactive, and funny. The casts were Korean, but they adapted some Indonesian words and songs into the show. I laughed and laughed until I cried. Unfortunately the weren't too many people in the theatre. Such a pity. If they ever come again I would definitely recommend it!

World of Ghibli Exhibition Jakarta 2017

A few months back I received an email about World of Ghibli exhibition in Jakarta. My skeptical brain immediately thought, "Aah, how good could it be... I've visited the museum in Mitaka and it's probably not going to be any better." Fast forward to August, a few of my Japan loving friends mentioned that rumours said that the displays are very good, made by Indonesians in cooperations with Ghibli representatives from Japan. In fact, so good that the Japanese company plans to take the displays and give them a home in Japan. Well hearing this from several different people definitely piqued my interest and I decided to check it out.
