Between now and my next trip, whenever that would be, I will back track and start posting pictures from our previous travels, not necessarily in order. This post will be from our trip to Manado, North Sulawesi (Celebes), Indonesia. It is my mother's hometown.
This visit to Manado was my first time in 25 years or so, and Miss Kiki's first.
Pictures below are from an animal centre near the city...
The Tarsius is one of the smallest primates native to Sulawesi and area. The face reminded me of Gremlins... lol.
There were also beautiful eagles...
And here is a funny thing. Not only monkey see monkey do, but also birdie see birdie do. These birds live next to the bat cage and they started hanging upside down like their neighbours.
