On my last post, we stopped on my third day in Prague around the perimeter of Old Town Square. That was probably around 1 or 2 pm in the afternoon. If you haven't yet, please check out Part 1 and Part 2.
I continued walking around the Square (which is not square shaped and not even a rectangle!) trying to absorb the overwhelming architectures speckled with ornaments in such detail. Also the number of people (mostly tourists) and everything that's going on there.
They have attractive signage,

Tourists,
Nice blue sky and curvy road.
On one of the streets they have a street market called
Havelské tržiště | Havelska Street Market. Here you can find a wide variety of things for sale at a better price than in a regular shop in the area, but higher than if you were to buy outside the touristy areas. They have Prague souvenirs, wooden toys, marionettes, spa wafers, chocolate, fruits, vegetables, accessories, and more.

On the same street as the Street Market, there was a toy store with Krtek at the front. I thought I'd share the picture. If you don't know Krtek, he is a famous mole from a cartoon originally from Czech but was very popular all over Eastern Europe. DH said he used to watch the cartoon when he was young.

Not too far from the street market stood the
Powder Tower. They used to store gunpowder there.

The followings are more pictures from my walk.
From the Old Town Square, I kept walking around and reached the
Wencelas Square. Like the Old Town Square, The Wencelas Square was also not square shaped nor rectangular, but more like a very long oval shape. At one end is the
National Museum and the other end is the
Estate Theatre area that we went to on the second day. When I came across the same baked sugar dough, I just could not resist. After a little bit of googling, I think it is called a Kurtosh Cake.

The taste reminds me of Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel but the dough is thinner and lighter. I liked it.

Not far from the National Museum is the State Opera building. We had bought tickets for Don Quijote Ballet which will take place there. Very exciting!

So it was time to go back and meet DH, I took the metro from Mustek, yellow line, to the station by our hotel.
