Ribbon Princess - Jasmine and Mulan

Today was a holiday and the family went to the mall and hung out at Starbucks. Boooooring.......! Unless you make ribbon sculptures! So we managed to make 2 princesses without a ruler. Oh well....

First was Jasmine, which turned out okay but I think her hair is a bit too pointy. Need to fix that next time. For her face and arms I used a slightly darker colour than the ones before, as Jasmine does have a darker colour skin.

The second one was Mulan but instead of the usual bun, I had her hair down instead. I don't like the scene when she was forced into marriage, so I want to celebrate the Mulan towards the end of the movie, with pink gown but hair down.

World of Ghibli Exhibition Jakarta 2017

A few months back I received an email about World of Ghibli exhibition in Jakarta. My skeptical brain immediately thought, "Aah, how good could it be... I've visited the museum in Mitaka and it's probably not going to be any better." Fast forward to August, a few of my Japan loving friends mentioned that rumours said that the displays are very good, made by Indonesians in cooperations with Ghibli representatives from Japan. In fact, so good that the Japanese company plans to take the displays and give them a home in Japan. Well hearing this from several different people definitely piqued my interest and I decided to check it out.
