First of all, please pardon my selfish promotion on this post today. With low salary and no health insurance, I'm all for extra income. To top it off, some things that we are used to in Canada are just soooo expensive here, but I'm not willing to live without them yet. And did I mention that school is not free?

So I've started a small online store for children and moms. To start with, I have pettiskirts and tutus for little princesses and pretty headbands for the moms. I hope to expand to other stuff in the future, but I hope that this will be a good start. I will ship worldwide so both my friends in Indonesia and Canada can buy the merchandise, and with very reasonable prices.

World of Ghibli Exhibition Jakarta 2017

A few months back I received an email about World of Ghibli exhibition in Jakarta. My skeptical brain immediately thought, "Aah, how good could it be... I've visited the museum in Mitaka and it's probably not going to be any better." Fast forward to August, a few of my Japan loving friends mentioned that rumours said that the displays are very good, made by Indonesians in cooperations with Ghibli representatives from Japan. In fact, so good that the Japanese company plans to take the displays and give them a home in Japan. Well hearing this from several different people definitely piqued my interest and I decided to check it out.
