Motykas in Asia Part 1 - Jakarta

You've probably seen my post about our travel to Winnipeg in 2014 . During our stay there, we were warmly received at the Motykas' residence. They are like family afterall! We have been inviting them to come and visit us since the day we moved to Jakarta, and after 5 years, the opportunity finally arrived!! I especially love the Christmas Card that Miss Kiki wrote, pictured below. Enjoy the pictures!

The class was scheduled at 10 am. Unfortunately, on that day Miss Kiki was even slower than usual and combined with 3 in 1 we ended up arriving an hour late. Francis Bakery generously offered her to take the later course instead and we gratefully accepted. They were so understanding! So we went to the bakery at Grand Indonesia east mall a bit earlier than scheduled. They gave out hats and aprons for the kids to wear. They were introduced to the head chef from Taiwan... Then they made sure the kids washed their hands and wore masks. It seemed like they did an introduction to the ingredients first, they got to touch and smell the products they will be using. I couldn't really hear what they were saying since parents weren't all...
