Earlier this month I heard of this Baking workshop for kids from one of the moms at Miss Kiki's school. So I looked it up and it seemed fun so I signed Miss Kiki up for the workshop. The class was scheduled at 10 am. Unfortunately, on that day Miss Kiki was even slower than usual and combined with 3 in 1 we ended up arriving an hour late. Francis Bakery generously offered her to take the later course instead and we gratefully accepted. They were so understanding!
So we went to the bakery at Grand Indonesia east mall a bit earlier than scheduled. They gave out hats and aprons for the kids to wear.
Then they made sure the kids washed their hands and wore masks.
It seemed like they did an introduction to the ingredients first, they got to touch and smell the products they will be using. I couldn't really hear what they were saying since parents weren't allowed inside.

They were introduced to the head chef from Taiwan...

And she even got to take the buns home...
Miss Kiki said that she had a lot of fun, but it was a lot of standing up so she was tired. But I bet if they offer another workshop she would definitely want to take it again!
