Antiparos
Never heard of it before? Neither had I, until I started researching for this trip.
Located on the southwest side of the Paros Island, this small island is a nice day trip from Paros. Ferries run from Port of Pounta in Paros quite frequently, and it takes about 10 minutes to cross. If you have a car, you can drive right on to the ferry and bring your car along to Antiparos.
What was it like? Well, it's like a mini version of Paros. There's a strip of shops, boutiques, and taverns on the main road, and the rest of the island seems to be residential area and beaches. The sun was scorching hot, the goods for sale were too expensive for our pockets, so we had a meal and left for the beach.

After going back and forth trying to find a suitable lunch, we settled on
Taverna Manos. Food was decent, but we felt like it was not as good as the lunch we had in Lefke Village the day before. We had grilled fish, salad, and moussaka. Miss Kiki really liked the one we tried in Lefke so she started ordering it more.

After lunch, we had had enough of the heat and sun, so we decided to go to the beach. The first beach we went to in Antiparos was the
Paralia Panagia or Panagia Beach. Miss Kiki chose this beach in particular because it has trees along the beach line so we could get away from the sun.
The beach didn't disappoint, it had crystal clear water, soft breeze, and shade. The Panagia Beach is a rocky beach, with a lot of variety of rocks. Some were marble-like, some were sparkly like it had metal dust in it. The water was too cold for my liking but there were many people swimming and Miss Kiki decided to go for it.

We spent a few hours at the Panagia Beach, and then we decided to check out Glyfa Beach. This beach turned out to be empty so it was like a private beach for us. However, there was no shade at all.
We decided that we had enough of Antiparos and took the ferry back to Paros. This time, I didn't bother getting out of the car for the short ferry ride, and enjoyed the golden hour through my sunroof instead.
That evening we had dinner in Paros at a restaurant walking distance from our AirBnb. it was a nice restaurant with soft atmosphere and live Greek music. The food was pretty good too, though we did have one of the dish we didn't like. Overall it's good, do give
Marmitta Restaurant a visit if you are in the area.
So that was our last evening in Paros, please stay tuned for our next destination: the mainland!
