 Santorini! Is it touristy? Yes! Is it expensive? Yes! Is it worth visiting? Definitely yes! To be honest, when I was planning this trip to Greece, I wasn’t too excited about Santorini. I had heard that it was very touristy, very expensive, and overhyped. Even so, since it was our first time in Greece, we decided to go and see it so we can at least say we’ve been there. It turned out that even though it was touristy and expensive, we had a great time and we loved it! Before I tell you more about what we did, here’s a more detailed itinerary on Santorini. This summer holiday (2025), we did a 20-day trip around Greece! From the time we planned the trip and bought the tickets to the time we actually went, the Euro to IDR rate went up by more than 10%, making our trip at least 10% more expensive. Even so, we tried to make the most out of it and enjoyed Greece as much as we could.  As usual, I did my research online and asked around for tips and suggestions.   It’s a big family trip time! You’ve read about our big family trips to Japan, Korea, and more; but those have been incomplete because my other sister wasn’t around. This time, during her visit to Indonesia, we made a special trip with her and her family. I had been sucessful in convincing them to travel to a domestic destination other than Bali, so we went to the famous Labuan Bajo. It was everyone’s (other than me, DH, and Miss Kiki’s) first time in Labuan Bajo I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did and get them hooked on Indonesian island travel :D  For this visit, we stayed in the resort and took a day trip on a speedboat.
