From the Elephant Nature Park I wrote about in the previous post, we got dropped off back to our hotel to freshen up. Continuing with the elephant theme, we headed out to Elephant Parade House using Uber. Uber was a great way to travel around Chiang Mai though whether it was legal or not was questionable.
The Elephant Parade House was basically a store that sold elephant statues with different paintings on them. In the store you can have an elephant statue painting workshop if you wish. There was also a kit that you can buy to take home for painting.
We didn't stay too long there, we just took a walk to see what cafes were around the area. The street was empty and it looked deserted. I was just going by the good reviews on Google Maps. I was quite impressed with my mom I bet you she was scared but she just went along. Hahaha...
It turned out we found a nice cafe/gallery called The Meeting Room that sold yummy dessert and drinks. Okay, it wasn't an incidental find as I already 'starred' it on my Google Map :D
One man on the counter whom I think is the owner did everything. We found that it was quite common in Thailand that one person at a time can operate a business.
I can't really remember what we did afterwards but all and all it was a fabulous day!
