For the third day I booked us for a short Lava Tour, a trip to the Merapi Volcano. Miss Kiki has been fascinated with volcanoes and volcano facts from her book, so I thought it would be appropriate to take her to a volcano and see one for real. I booked the Lava tour with Mentari Adventure owned by Pak Eko. He can be reached via text, phone, or WhatsApp at +6281229915857 I arranged pick-up and drop-off with the same company to get to the volcano from our hotel. His prices are very reasonable. On the day of our tour, all of his cars and drivers are out so we were lucky to be picked up by Pak Eko himself in a brand spanking new Toyota Avanza. He was on time, polite, clean, and (I know it is important for some of us) smelled pleasant. Hahahhaa..... You wouldn't want to sit in a car for a long trip with a smelly driver, would you. When we arrived at the Merapi Museum, our Jeep was all ready to go. We hopped on and off we went. Oh what fun it was to ride in a Jeep up...
