Applying for Oman Visa

This is a very quick post about my recent application for Oman Visas, particularly the unsponsored tourist visa. There are many websites on the world wide web offering services to process visa for the Sultanate of Oman, but I find that the most legitimate and direct one is through this link , which has a .gov address and seems to be part of the Royal Oman Police. Only citizens of countries from their list are allowed to apply for an e-visa, please check your eligibility prior to applying. Yes, Indonesians and Canadians are eligible. Here's the how to: Create an account Apply for the visa that you need Pay Wait  When you travel in a group, you only need one account and all of the visas can be applied through that same account. Anyone can apply for a visa for anyone else.  The e-visa is only valid for 30-days after the visa was issued, so you have to apply less than a month in advance. The cost is OMR 5.00 per application. When you apply, you will need to upload a copy of yo

Seattle 3-Day Summer Sample Itinerary

Lately I found out that more and more of my friends use my blog as reference for their travel preparations. Therefore, I am making it my goal to make it easier for whoever reads my blog to plan their trip. I think that making sample itineraries is one way to do it, and with a very special friend in mind, I will start with a sample itinerary for Seattle. Last year in the summer I spent 3 days in Seattle. That included the drive to and from Delta, BC. You can read the whole story on my post . Here, I will write a more technical itinerary of the trip. Day 1 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Drive to Seattle Premium Outlet This time allowance includes a half-hour wait at the border. Sometimes it will take longer at the border depending on the queue.  12:00 pm - 4:00 pm Lunch and shop at Seattle Premium Outlet 30 minutes for lunch, and spare 3-4 hours to go in and out the stores at the outlet. If you like to eat a lot, there is an option to eat buffet lunch at the Tulalip Casino right by t

Motykas in Asia 2018 Part 16 - Bali - The End

Towards the end of our our adventures with the Motykas this time, we went to Bali for a weekend. The Motykas had gone ahead of us and stayed there for a full week. On Friday evening after Miss Kiki got off school we went to the airport... It was a bright and clear day, a great kind of weather to fly in my opinion. At the Bali airport we took some pictures with this Balinese version of a Christmas tree. It was made of Janur or coconut/palm leaves woven into shapes. This is typically used for ceremonies and celebrations in Bali and Java. Our friends and the Motykas came to pick us up at the airport. They wanted to surprise us but it didn't work because they ducked too late :D Lol.... We went for Babi Guling, a pork dish for dinner before we went to our hotel. Usually, Babi Guling is sold for breakfast or lunch so we didn't have that many options for the evening. We checked in to our room in Mariott's Bali Nusa Dua Gardens . This resort is part of their Vacation Cl
