Ribbon Princess Tutorial - Tinkerbell

We started off with Cinderella , followed by her fellow princess, Aurora , then we went Under The Sea to meet Ariel, and now it's time to go to Neverland and greet our little fairy Tinkerbell! Tinkerbell These are the colours you need:  flesh colored: 4 ¾ ", 2 ¼   " green: six pieces of 1 ¼   ",   1 ",  ½   " yellow:  1 ½   ", two pieces of 1"    **note** I found that the two pieces of 1" should be a bit longer to make a good ball..... white: Two pieces  4 ", Two pieces of 3",  ¾ " Tinkerbell colours Cut pieces for Tinkerbell The idea is the same as the others. You take the longer piece of flesh coloured ribbon and roll one end to create her head. Then you take the other flesh coloured piece and round off the ends to create her arms. Spray with hair spray to prevent fraying. Take your 6 strips of the longest green and glue them one by one to create a fan shape, and attach them to the bo

Ribbon Princess - Ariel

First we had Cinderella , and then Aurora ,  Now it's time for us to go Under The Sea with Ariel! Ariel These are the colours we used for Ariel: flesh colored: 3", 2 ¼   " purple: 1" green: two pieces of 3" light blue: Two pieces of  2",  1 ½   " red: 4" The first few steps for Ariel are the same as Cinderella and Aurora: Roll and glue the long flesh coloured piece to make the head Round off the ends of the shorter flesh coloured piece to make the arms, spray with hair spray To make Ariel's top, pinch and glue your purple piece and wrap it around her body, glue at the back.  Head and body, arms, and top. Top wrapped around her body At this point, Miss Kiki joined in and of course I forgot to take pictures, but you can follow the original tutorial . How do you like it? Up next: Tinkerbell! Ribbon Princess - Aurora

I was supposed to do a tutorial for Aurora yesterday but when I was about to start Miss Kiki asked if she could help out. And how could I say no to the sweet little thing! In the end, I only have pictures from the preparation step and the end result! But no fear! We have our Cinderella tutorial still, and this one is not that different. And of course, you can go back to the original tutorial I followed to make this. Beware though, in the original tutorial it said you need a strip of light pink but actually you need two. In my preparation picture I still only have one strip and I had to cut another one. Aurora colours Cut version, missing a piece of light pink.

Ribbon Princess Tutorial - Cinderella

A while ago I saw a hair clip at the department store that was a girl made out of ribbons. It was sooo cute, but too pricey for what it was. So I searched online for samples and I found that they even have the Disney princesses versions! While most people sell their hand made ribbon princess, one lady was nice enough to share a tutorial for 13 different princesses. How awesome is that! You can see her tutorials at  Grosgrain Fabulous . I bought my gross grain ribbon online at  Pusat Grosir Pita . They have good selection and if you are in Indonesia I do recommend them. I made this Cinderella following her tutorial with a slight difference in how I attach the hair. I hope you like it! This is what you need: Flesh colored: 2¼ ", 3" Yellow: 1¼", 2 "  Light Blue: 2", 1 ¼ ", five pieces of 4" White: two pieces of 1" , two pieces of 2 ½"   Glue (I used UHU) Hairspray (because I didn't have any no-fray spray)

A Week In Japan Part 5 - Tokyo and Hakone

The day after our Disneyland trip was still rainy but not as cold. Tokyo is a busy humongous city swarming with people. If you want to see it, go to one of the main train stations around 5:30 pm. You will see an ocean of black suits trying to get wherever they were going after work.  Early morning train ride We started our day with a visit to Tsukiji Fish Market. It is the largest fresh fish auction area in Tokyo. If you want to see the auction, you have to get there very early in the morning before sunrise. Here, you can find the freshest sushi ever! There are several famous sushi places there, but you do have to get there early or you will have to wait for hours before you get a seat. We didn't want to wait so we headed over to another one that looked a bit nicer with English menu, but of course the prices are also higher. And yes, the fish taste different when they are super fresh! Sushi Set Sushi Set From the Tsukiji Market we took a train to Akihabara area
